Time afte time I like to spend a couple of my online hours to find new and hopefully interesting web sites. More or less I always find something interesting like new funny videos, new marketing articles with some things I have not considered before as important as they are, maybe a new cool blog that will go to my bookmarks and of course I always look for some free stuff as many of us certainly do. In on these time wasting hours I stumbled (without the stumble upon) to web site which deals with furnished apartments in Dubai.
No need to say that Dubai is one of the most intriguing cities of modern world. It has many world wonders, well at least from my point of view. The web site I ran into is: http://www.dubaiapartments.biz/
It deals with stuff like self catering Dubai and hotel apartments Dubai which will surely help many of you who are looking for such service in Dubai. The web site itself is very good designed and it looks professional as this type of website should look. Note to their competitors, look how a good design is made and maybe you will get an idea too.
One of the things most people will want to know what the prices of apartments in Dubai are. According to the homepage it is not cheap to live in Dubai as the average price for a month of rent Dubai is around 5,000$ and this you must admit in not cheap. I do not know what the standard price in USA is but this seems a bit too much for me. But again, Dubai is not build for everyone and before making a conclusion that Dubai is too expensive one must remember that Dubai itself was built and continues to be built for people who have billions of dollars in their bank accounts and 5,000$ per month is not too much for them, is it?
On the home page you will see a great search function that will help you find the right apartment for you based on your search query which can be as complicated as you want it to be. If you cannot find an apartment for you using this search function then you really do not know how to use the Internet itself….
So what do I think about this website? It is great for people who can afford living in Dubai but unfortunately I am not one of them, not yet anyway….
Creating a social network site

No posts lately, I know but this time I have a excuse. Last week
or so I have been working on a social network site with a friend of mine. I have a cool domain name for it and I was waiting for a right time and a right partner(s) to start working on this cool project.
So we have started working, design is done, many modifications have been implemented but there is still a lot of work that needs to be done. Before you start telling me that there are many social networking sites I am going to tell you that this one is targeting very specific market, non english speakers. The market is small, around 20 million people if you count near by countries but it makes the challenge even more fun from the marketing point of view.
I can’t describe how happy I feel when we work on the project, only the thought about it makes me happy because I know it will be a success and it will make a lot of money even though money is not my main motivator but still it play a big role in anything you do.
Marketing blog update and Real life problems

So I am sitting at home doing some minor jobs on my pc and suddenly I have a need to print some documents that I needed to print like two weeks ago. While looking at my TV I am pressing CTRL + P and what do you know, I am out of ink. I really hate when these things happen and it just makes me want to have extra ink cartridges all the time. Don’t you think that it is one of the worst feelings when you don’t have something you really need?
The headline said update so I must tell what really made me happy today. It was my very first affiliate sale! I have sold a product that I have started promoting couple of weeks ago and today was my first sale. The commission is 39$ which I think is really good. I was getting traffic both from paid search (Adwords) and organic search. I have only spent 6.5$ on Adwords and I think that with conversion like this one it would be really great to do PPC for living.
Being very optimistic after this sale I’m planning to increase the number of keywords I bid on and maybe even work on getting better organic listing as well. Organic search will surely bring more sales in the long run.
I almost forgot, I have started working on my new design for this blog. As you may have noticed current design is not 100% mine and I believe that it is time to create something 100% custom made. I’m doing everything myself so it won’t cost me anything accept my invested time.
Marketing blog changes?

Well folks, I am thinking about changing the content on this marketing blog a bit to attract more visitors of different interest. As you can see I have been doing some weird posts from time to time but what I am really think about is writing something like iphone review or any other gadget review together with some technological subject since I like this stuff as much as marketing.
I am hoping to get some feed back about my ideas since I am not sure will it do me good or not. I will surely decide in the next few days but I do hope it will be the right decision.
