Pay per lead affiliate marketing programs

In my last post I’ve said that my favorite affiliate marketing programs are those which pay per lead. Today I want to explain what it means.
Pay per lead affiliate marketing programs are the best way to start doing affiliate marketing since they pay you for leading future customers. With pay per lead programs you don’t sell any product, not at first sight anyway. The one thing that makes pay per lead affiliate programs stand out is the 99% of them offer something free. It could be a free domain name, free services, free advice, free eBooks etc.
To be successful with pay per lead affiliate programs you need to drive a lot of highly targeted traffic as with any other form of online business but you also need to do something that will drive action, something that will make your visitor click on that affiliate link of yours. The word “free” makes everyone curious but as internet grows people are getting more and more scammed so they don’t trust the word free anymore.
If you want to be good at affiliate marketing you need to attract visitors with something new, something bizarre, and something that they will want to click. The best way to find something like that is to experiment a lot until you find the best click through rate.
Remember, to be good you need to experiment.

Very insightful. I prefer this method myself. Less hype. More quality content.
