How to get 2000 highly targeted rss subscriptions
Filed under: Marketing blog news by Sasha on April 27, 2008
I have never liked rss and I don’t really know why. It is very cool thing, keeps you more organized and more up to date than anything else. Still, I have a trouble getting used to it….
As you may have notice there is not “Subscribe to” buttons or link currently right here. This is going to change today. I have set myself a goal of getting 2000 rss subscribers and I’m going to do whatever it takes to get them. Well, almost whatever.
First things first, After I publish this post you’ll notice Feedburner counter and new subscription links/images/buttons/something and this is the first step on my trip to 2000 subscribers.
Wish me good luck.

This list of RSS directories should help, they will pull from your feed and I believe they count as subscribers
I could be wrong though. We definitely upped our subscriber count after submitting to them, though. Ignore the blog directories, they are for backlinks, not subscribers.

Hi Linda, nice to see you back here.
Thanks for your tip. I’m also considering giving away some free stuff through my RSS feed in order to get the numbers higher.
Thanks again.

Just to let you know, placing my feed into a couple (~25) rss directories resulted in 15 new subscribers.
If you have any good RSS directory list please share it with us here.
Thanks
