If you are like me and you live in a country where paypal isn’t supported then you find yourself stuck because even though you could make money you just can’t receive it. I must correct myself, my country is supported by paypal but only for sending money, receiving isn’t supported yet and I can only hope that it will be soon.

So are we all that stuck that we can’t do business online? No, there are other payment processing companies out there so it would be a good idea to check them out and find one that suits your needs. I’m going to name a few and you can see for yourself if they are good for you and the most important factor in this story, you check if your country is supported or not.

My favorite and maybe the best payment processing company besides paypal is Moneybookers (affliate link). They offer personal and merchant accounts. With merchant account you can receive money from other Moneybookers account holders and you can also accept major credit cards with a fee of 8% per transaction.
You can read more about Moneybookers at their homepage.

Second option is e-gold. E-gold is an electronic currency and they are a bit complicated because you need to exchange your e-gold for real money somehow and you can only accept payments from other e-gold members.

One of the best options that you can find is 2checkout. They offer a lot of possibilities for merchants. You can receive major credit cards, but they ask for 50$ setup where other solutions are free. You can find fees and other information at 2checkout homepage.

Last solution that I’m going to present is only for US people but since Google is growing very fast I believe that they will include the whole world very soon. As you have guessed I am talking about Google Checkout. A lot of countries are supported for payment only but as I have said, I believe that this is going to change very fast.

My personal advice is to open an account with all of these companies if you can, that way you will cover 99% of you future transactions and you won’t lose money.

Lack of paypal is a problem in a modern webmaster world but you have to deal with it the best you can, crying around won’t help you much.

I have presented a couple of solutions that you could use to receive payments so there are no more excuses, get up and start making money online, it is there waiting for you.

    See you soon…

I’m currently searching for an alternative to paypal. I’ve been struggling with paypal for a couple years. Our company does between $25-$60 thousand in sales every month. Credit cards are often rejected with generalized errors for no reason. I know they are for no reason because I am able to manually process them with no problems. But this is a huge inconvenience.
Anyways, in searching for a paypal alternative I’ve encountered a large volume of paypal “horror stories.” I hope you’re still searching. Paypal is not the answer. They are costing me customers because they are TOO STRICT.

I’m using moneybookers and I think that I will use epassporte soon since one of affiliate networks I have joined recently can pay via epassporte which is great since you can get a real plastic Visa card and use it on any ATM world wide. I don’t have any experience with them but I guess they might be useful.
