  • How to make 2,500$ per month?

Filed under: Money making ideas by Sasha on May 24, 2007

Actually this is the second part of my last article in which I’ve promised that I will explain how to make 2,500$ per month. Even though that making even more money is possible with link selling you must be aware that this technique requires a lot of patience and a lot of hard work.

First thing that you need to achieve is a high page rank. As I’ve said many times before, I won’t argue about the importance of page rank, for this purpose (link selling) you need to have a high page rank web site. The fact is that people buy high page rank links and they pay a lot of money for monthly subscriptions. Some amounts are really unbelievable, up to 1,000$ per month for one link.

In order to earn 2,500$ per month you’ll probably need to make a network of websites, 5 or more, depending on how much are you going to work on each one, how much traffic you can pull, how high page rank etc.

Let’s say that you can create a page rank 6 website, that is, five PR 6 web sites. I know that it sounds scary but if you work a lot this can be achieved. Price of one PR 6 link ranges from 10 to 30$ per month depending on the category (niche) of your website and the traffic that you get. To be optimistic let’s say that you will sell 10 links from your homepage for 20$ each. Simple math tell you that you will get 200$ per month with only one website. If you can repeat what you did on the rest of your four web sites you’ll be making 1,000$ per month doing almost nothing.

    Didn’t I say 2,500$ per month?

Yes I did. In order to make more money you will again use your network of website. Because you have sold 10 homepage links you can’t sell any more but what you can do is to sell links from your articles. If you have enough content money will be pretty big. In each article you could sell three links and keep it normal looking article as it always has been. Writing one article per day and selling links in it could get you up to 15$. That is per day. One month would the yield 450$ from one website and total of 2250$ per month with all 5 websites. This is only from article links.

Combined you could be making 3,250$ per month with five web sites. As everything else, web is not a perfect place I you can’t expect to sell all of your links. That is way I’ve said that you could make 2,500$ per month.

I’m looking forward to your comments and ideas.

I was looking forward to read the post for earning $2,500 per month anxiously! Finally, its here now. As you’ve already mentioned, you have to have site(s) with PR 5 - PR 6. No doubt, high PR sites can earn you that much from link sales. Also, you will not only earn $$$ from the link sales, but high PR sites with good content can drive lots and lots of traffic from Search Engines also. I know of a site which is PR 5, has more than 100,000 unique visitors coming to it every month and earns more than $1,000 from Google Adsense and another $2,000 from affiliates. So, if you count that income also, and also link sales from that site alone, you can earn approximately $3,000 + $300 in link sales, off one PR 5 site alone! Now imagine what you can do with 5 sites!!!

It would be great if high PR meant high traffic, unfortunately it is not the case. Chances are that you will have some traffic with a high pr site, after all pr is based on links and good links should bring traffic but you can’t be sure.

In a case of site that makes 3,000$ month it would be a good idea to reinvest that money to gain even more money, makes sense doesn’t it? :)

You mentioned 100,000 unique visitors, I think that it a really good thing to have such high number of people visiting your site but again it is probably not related to the fact that the site has a Page Rank 5.

What you wrote about adsense and affiliates will be covered in one of my next articles, so keep reading ;)

      Cheers,

You are absolutely right about ‘high PR’ not necessarily leading to high traffic. However, the site I particularly mentioned has a lot of original hand written content and has more than 5,000 pages, and almost all of them are indexed by Google also.

You might come across several websites which are PR 6 and have very few pages, and very few content. I think the lack of content is the main cause for them not getting enought traffic and users and Search Engine Rankings also.

These days you really need to produce a lot of good, quality and the most important unique content to survive on the web. Without the content your business/web site can’t grow and it wont make any money after a while.

The best case scenario would be to have a high page rank web site and a lot of traffic to it, that combination should bring a lot of money a help you develop your site even more.
